Jana Kramer bio

Country-pop and actor writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the cast in One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. She was featured in several episodes as a new country music artist. This helped her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed into the Top Ten. Her decade ended with appearances for Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. The girl was born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. Later, she would make a record career, but she made her debut acting as an actress, who made her screen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. Guest spots on shows such as All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she landed the part in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the course of the show's second season from 2007 to 2008. Kramer played in 90210 in 2008-2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played Alex Dupre. She remained on the show until 2012, when the show ended. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. The second album of Kramer Thirty One came out on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) as well as Steven Tyler's duet with Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to be even more successful and landed at the third spot in the Billboard 200. Two months on Dancing with the Stars 23rd edition ended with her finishing 4th. She also scored an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
