Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American performer and actress. Her first release was hilarious, intelligently composed rap songs that addressed issues like racial identification as well as sexual orientation. Later, she broadened her fans to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. In addition to classical and jazz, she started studying hip-hop when she was in her teens. Concentrating on school she studied journalism as well as women's studies in college even studying Mandarin in Beijing for a time. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until she graduated. The track My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. It eventually made it in her debut album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also featured viral hit tracks like body positive Queef & winking home tour NYC Bitche$. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide that was published in 2015, which was a different initiative. The singer decided to make a career as an actor following the completion of her previous two ventures as a musician and author. Alongside early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk she appeared in films like Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018 she got a series of notable roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. She released the EP, in Fina We Trust in June of that year.
