Robyn Rihanna known as Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian performer and musician who has given us hit songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in her prime youthful years, she's already sold more than 140 million records and 41 million songs across the globe, becoming one of the best-selling artists ever. Her parents hail from Barbados, and she started singing in the early years of her life. Due to the turmoil in her household as well as the disputes her parents had, she decided to take up music. Then she realized that she wanted to pursue a career as a performer. When she was in high-school when she started forming an ensemble and was a part of the auditions for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was blown away by her talent. In order to make money as a professional musician she was asked to move to New York. Rihanna's debut album was shortly out and Rihanna became a hit with the public before long. People of all ages loved her energetic songs. This inspired Rihanna to make films. Today, she's a teenager fan and the fashion icon. Rihanna makes good use of her popularity and is a supporter of many charity causes.
